Terms of Service

What we provide

Gathory is software for selling and running retreats, teacher trainings, workshops, courses, and sessions under your own brand: booking pages, checkout, payment plans, waivers, guest emails, content hubs, community, and related tools.

We provide the platform. You provide, price, and deliver the offerings sold through it.

Payments

All guest payments are processed as direct charges on your own connected Stripe account, under Stripe's terms. We are never the merchant of record, we never hold your funds, and payouts follow your Stripe schedule, not ours.

Our platform fee is charged per booking at the rate of your plan (or added at checkout if you enable guest-pays). Plan pricing is listed on the pricing page; payment-plan bookings keep the fee rate in effect when the plan was created.

Your responsibilities

You're responsible for the offerings you sell: their accuracy, safety, legality, delivery, refund decisions, and any required licenses, insurance, or certifications (including certification standards you claim, such as Yoga Alliance registration).

You're responsible for the guest data you collect through the platform. Use it for your business with your guests, consistent with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Refunds are between you and your guests. The platform gives you the tools to issue them against the original charge.

AI features

AI features produce drafts for your review. Nothing is sent or published without your approval, and you're responsible for what you approve.

Your content and data

Your brand, content, and guest relationships remain yours. You grant us only the license needed to host and display them as the product requires.

You can export your contacts, attendees, and signed waivers at any time. If you close your account, export first; we'll retain only what legal and financial records require.

Acceptable use

No unlawful offerings, no misleading claims, no spam, and no attempts to break or misuse the platform or other hosts' data. We may suspend accounts that put guests, hosts, or the platform at risk.

Disclaimers and liability

The platform is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the platform fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We're not liable for the conduct of hosts or guests, or for the offerings themselves.

Changes and termination

You can stop using the platform at any time. We may update these terms; if a change is material, we'll notify you by email before it takes effect. Continued use after that is acceptance.
